Researcher Profile- Giggins, H.



Dr Helen Giggins is currently working as Lecturer in the Discipline of Construction Management in the School of Architecture and Built Environment. Helen received her PhD from the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Newcastle, Australia in 2009. Her thesis titled ‘Security of Genetic Databases’ was nominated for the Computing Research and Education Association of Australasia (CORE) Australasian Distinguished Doctoral Dissertation in 2009.

Her current research interests are diverse, ranging across disaster management and recovery, use of ITC in education and architectural history. Her previous research interests include privacy preserving data publishing, privacy preserving data mining, trust management and graph theory applications.
